About the release: Enough Names comprised of two emcees and a producer, Glad2mecha, Ahpasit and The Tranzformer. Glad and Ahpasit had the idea to create an album about their past and present heartaches and were taken with the soulfullness yet uptempo vibe of Tranzformers beats. It was a perfect fit for the content, which was a concern because they wanted to ensure the emotion without creating an overly depressing feel. Thus began the process of creating, "Enough Names, Victory is a Funeral." "Victory is a Funeral," is a start to finish solid album, which invests and shares emotion and wit and is an addicting and diverse listen.
About the artist: The Tranzformer, of Dirty Dome Beats, was born and raise in El Centro California. He has been making beats since late 2007, has two albums out, "Enough Names, Victory is a Funeral," and "Raw and Homemade," (his production album mixtape.) The Tranzformer is currently working on, "Raw and Homemade Vol. 2," and other projects featuring, "Melodious Monk, Oh No, Remarkable Mayor, Guerilla War Tactix, Aol, Sosh B. Cardi, Prolifical, Green Llama and others. At 22, The Transformer has a great knowledge and respect for a variety of music genres. He began his musical career with punk rock music, using a tascam 8 track he started recording his band. Later he was introduced to Underground Hip Hop and shortly after began making beats. He has two digital releases on "Domination Recordings," and is now a part of "Digi Crate Records." He is also part of a group called "Guerilla War Tactix," who are looking to release their album soon.
Ahpasit was born in Omaha, Nebraska and has gone back and forth between there and Phoenix for the last 13 years. He was and is influenced by alot of Classic Rock, such as, "Pink Floyd," and, "Led Zepplin." He always wanted to contribute to the creation of music and found the best way to channel it was through Hip Hop. His content consists mostly of his life experiences and what he learns from those around him. Admittingly Ahpasit uses
alcohol and music as crutches to get through the stresses of daily life. (And ex
girlfriends.) Ahpasit has been featured on numerous albums and has a release in 2004, featuring, "Glad2mecha," and "Jabberwalkie," entitled, "Secret Soicety." He is currently working on his solo album which is being produced by, "Aquarius Minded," entitled "Two Cans, No Strings," looking to be released later this year.
Glad2Mecha was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona. He currently has released 7 albums, and expects to drop his solo album, entitled, "Hello," In July 2009. "Hello," is produced entirely by one of the U.K's finest Ill treats, and features such artists as; Sinuous, Adru the Misfit, Cadence as well as a few others. Glad2mecha has always been extremely talented when it comes to what he is passionate about and focused on. Almost a decade ago Rollerblading traded hands with hip hop, when a broken limb encouraged a closer introduction to creating music. Not only a vocalist he is also an accomplished beat maker under the name of Beta7. Glad mixes and masters his, as well as "Orchestra Records," artists music, and has performed live with, (to name a few) The Chiccarones, Living Legends, and the Pharcyde. His ultimate goal is to inspire artists of the future, the way he has been inspired by the music and the words of the past.
